I am back with you today with my beautiful niece, Emma. She has another lesson for me today. I call it “Planning for tomorrow, but living for today.”
It is important for us to look toward the future, to keep making plans and taking action steps to get us closer to making our dreams a reality, BUT we only have
today. We only have this moment.
For example, babies crawl for a very short period of time. I did not know this with my first child. When I had my second child, I did better at cherishing that time.
That is where Emma is right now, so I am cherishing every crawling moment.
Emma’s lesson for today is to continue to plan for the future and take your action steps, but live for today because you never know if it will be your last. You never know when babies are going to stop crawling. And you definitely don’t know what will be happening tomorrow, so ENJOY TODAY!
