Are You Letting Yourself Get Short-Changed?

Today, I want to encourage you to remember how much you're worth.

Have you ever let yourself get short-changed?

I have.

When I moved to San Antonio, I was told by several interpreting agencies that I would not be hired unless I lowered my rates.

So I did.

But in a short period of time, I realized I was worth more than I was charging.

I've been interpreting for 25 years and I've worked hard to get to where I am.

But I went into scarcity mode, thinking what if I don't get work?

I changed my tune.

I bumped my rates for all the agencies.

And guess what?

I continued to get work because I was charging what I was worthy of receiving.

So I want you to think about that today.

Are you short-changing yourself?

Or are you getting what you deserve?

You've worked so hard, and you're worthy of receiving!

You Never Know Where Gifts Will Come From

abundance gratitude Mar 27, 2024

I had a really cool realization this week.

If you've been following me lately, you know that my RV (home) broke down in Arkansas when I took a friend on a fishing trip.

It's been down for several weeks, and I'm living with my ex-husband until it's fixed.

Thank goodness, my ex and I are getting along now.

Anyway, I'm so thankful and grateful to be staying in a place surrounded by trees. The best part is I get to take my dog "Cutie Pie" on an hour-long hike every day.

Right near the house is this huge park where you can hike with nothing but trees and grass for miles and miles and miles. I'm surrounded by nature.

I realized – I'm living part of my vision statement right now.

It's not a house surrounded by trees, but it's near and I'm taking advantage of it.

I'm getting this gift because my RV broke down and I don't have a home right now.

You never know where the gifts are going to come from.

Have you received an unexpected gift lately? Or suddenly realized that something unfortunate can have a flip side that's a gift? I'd love to hear more.

And I encourage you to keep your eyes and ears open for unexpected gifts in your own journey!

The Hardest Part of Manifesting

I think is the hardest step of manifesting is to surrender.

Writing a vision statement....no problem.

Meditating on it...I can do that.

The next step is surrender, to give it up to the universe – having faith and trust that it's coming to you.

Here's the thing. All you need to know is the what. . . and not the how.

When you're given that intuitive pull, you follow through.

But we still try to control the how.

My question (and challenge) for you today is this:

What can you surrender to the universe and trust and allow it to come into your life?

Noticing the Abundance in Your Life

abundance abundant life Jan 19, 2024

People often ask me, how do you grow your abundance?

Well, the number one things I say - besides having gratitude - is to make a daily list of abundance.

What abundance was brought into your life today?

I'm working with a neighbor who I absolutely love, but he is stuck in the mindset that he is controlled by his finances because he's on Social Security.

I told him to start recognizing the abundance that comes into his life.

He constantly talks about how much he saves at Costco.

Or he went to a farmer's market and got a crate of spinach for only $5. I said, that is HUGE because a little bitty bag of spinach at the store costs $5. So, you probably got $50 worth of spinach in that one crate!

We are given gifts every day of abundance.

It doesn't just have to be those dollars that come into your bank account.

And one abundance I would love to give you is the free class that I'm offering.

Here's the link - but you have to sign up by tomorrow (Jan 20). Registration closes at 9pm Eastern.

We're starting next Wednesday (January 24). And you've got to have your Vision Statement completed before the first class.

I hope to see you there!

Sign Up Here.

If not, write down that daily abundance list so you can bring more and more into your life.

I hope you have an amazing day!

What You Would Love to Manifest This Year?

I've finished my 2024 vision board. I'm getting on track for the year of what I would love to manifest.

And if you would love to manifest a free class from me (a Christmas gift that I talked about a couple weeks ago), it's easy...

Just sign up here!

We're going to talk about manifestation, abundance, and love for each of the three months.

And since we're starting with manifestation, we're going to get clear on our vision statement, goals for three years and one year – so you can do those resolutions that you decided to do this year!

There's a workbook for each day of gratitudes and action steps.

There is a recorded lesson each week and meditations as well.

We will meet on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. Central for 30 minutes to hold ourselves accountable. We'll make sure we are doing what we need to do to stay on track.

So if you're interested, sign up now.

There's absolutely zero obligation. Promise!

I just want to give it away. I want you to be prosperous and manifest and see how this stuff works.

I hope to see you on January 24 when it starts.

But you have to sign up by next Wednesday because you've got to get your vision statement ready before the class starts.

I hope you have an amazing day!

A Gift for You

This week, I'm excited to give you a Christmas gift.

I've been so blessed this year, and I really want to pay it forward.

So, starting January 24, I will be giving you three months of my Deep Dive program for free.

I want YOU to have just as an abundant year as I did.

And that's why I'm sharing this gift. It's three months of the most powerful and innovative process available today for quickly and permanently transforming your dreams into your reality!

The program includes weekly live coaching, audio lessons, meditations, and a workbook for journaling.

You'll learn and grow as we take a deep dive into three areas (one per month):

  1. Manifestation
  2. Love
  3. Transformation

If you're interested, go ahead and click this link to register.

I hope you have a wonderful Merry Christmas and an amazing new year!

Dealing with the Terrible "What Ifs"

Do you ever fall into the trap of thinking about terrible "what ifs"?

What if this doesn't work out?

What if I can't ever meet anybody?

What if something terrible happens?

What if I can't find the house that I love?

These thoughts consume us and take up so much energy.

The Flip Side

Here's a suggestion. Let's shift the perspective to a new set of empowering questions:

What if I was successful?

What if I found that perfect house?

What if this relationship did work out?

What if I was highly successful in everything that I would love?

It takes the same amount of time to go into the worry of "what ifs" of the tragic as you can go into the "what ifs" of success.

So today, really think about, What if life worked out exactly the way that I would love?

Give that thought energy.

As I often say, God gives us everything we want. God always says "yes," but it's what you have faith in, because that's what you focus on. So try shifting to the positive possibilities.

What if I was successful?

I hope you have an amazing day!

Creating With A Passion

Today, I'm so excited to introduce you to Laura Petrie of The Art Farm Women's Retreat in Paducah, KY, and show you the barn that she designed herself. Laura is truly someone who knows about creating with a passion. Watch the video to learn more.

She also has cottages and yurts on the land that you can stay in. But this is a creative space for women to come and use different kinds of mediums to create art that they love to make a life that they love, and to camp out and have a really good time.

She created her amazing barn from the foundation up. This is just a little bit of the land that women get to experience while they're here.

She created the lesbian film festival known as Cinema Systers Film Festival. Then, she took it one step further and decided to make it a women's retreat. The land is now open for women to camp, RV, and enjoy nature.

I asked her, "So why do you feel like it's your calling to do this for women?"

Her value of supporting women's activities grew stronger when she was at the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival. Then, she and I met. This gave Laura the strength to follow her vision and instincts. She started the Airbnb business, and it's also on hipcamp. It continues to grow every day.

I also asked her, "So what's your secret to keeping it growing?"

You have to do what you can with what you have. During COVID, she started studying how to make money.  It kept coming back to her to "do what you can with what you have." She has a farm and some buildings and decided to turn it into a women's retreat.

It's known as The Art Farm Women's Retreat where she started Cinema Systers. Look it up. It's lovely.

Abundance Comes from GIVING Not Getting

I am so super excited to be in Paducah, Kentucky. I get to give a workshop to a group of amazing women at The Art Farm Women's Retreat. I will add a link below for you to learn more about her. Watch the video to learn more.

I've been reading The Abundance Book by John Price. The book says that if you're wanting abundance, don't do things to "get". Instead, do things to give.

What can you spiritually do for others? How can you improve their lives?

I feel super blessed that I get to present my workshop because this is what I love to do. I'm giving up my time and expecting nothing in return but the love and the light on their faces when they have spiritual realizations.

What can you do today that will improve someone else's life?

Creating Abundance By Clearing Out

Welcome to my closet. Last week, I talked about how when you clear out, it makes space for more to come in. I've been working on clearing out my cloths, and letting go of the attachment to material things that I often don't use or need.

I'm moving into an RV and that space is small. So I'm giving myself the opportunity to make room for more wonderful things in my life. What I have cleared out of this closet is just the beginning.

It's been a process that has taken several weeks. I do a little bit, take a break, and then come back and do a little bit more. You don't have to do it all in one day. What can you release today so you can bring even more abundance into your life?
