Today we're talking about the Law of Obedience, which is basically doing the next right thing. Watch this video to learn more.
Raymond Holliwell defines the Law of Obedience as, “Living in the present. Do your highest duty every day, forget the past, and let the future take care of itself.”
There's nothing you can do about the past. In the present you can make a vow to change your thoughts, behavior, and actions.Â
Stay in the moment. Stay focused. Do the best you absolutely can so you can create a better future.Â
My question for you today is this...how can you stay in this moment today?Â
Also make it a point to notice when those past memories come up where you're being down on yourself and demeaning because you made a mistake. If it was yesterday, or even two years ago, forgive yourself, love yourself, let it go, and decide to change your behavior in the future.
Start focusing on what you would love to co-create with the Universe. Visualize as if it has already happened, so you can bring it into your life today.Â
Always do your best, do your diligent duty, stay in the moment, and be present.
Today we are talking about the Law of Sacrifice.
This one is not so fun, but something always has to be sacrificed to create something else. Watch the video to learn more.
That might mean going to bed earlier so you can get a good night's sleep. Maybe it means breaking off that relationship with a family member, so you can have peace of mind. It could mean spending an hour longer at work instead of binge watching your favorite TV show. Whatever it is, one thing has to be sacrificed for the other.
Raymond Holliwell says, “Beginning of such success is first the desire for discipline of your time and thought. An undisciplined life is an insane life.”Â
With the Law of Sacrifice, it's about getting disciplined about what's more important. Is it more important to go out every night to run for 30 minutes to get in better shape? Or is it more important for you to sit on the couch and relax?Â
Both sound great. But for you, at this moment in your life, what is most important to get you to the goal that you would love to achieve?
So when you are thinking about what you want to co-create with the Universe, think about what you can sacrifice today to get you closer to the goal of what you would love to become.Â
Today we are talking about the Law of Resistance. We try to hold on and control so much outside of us, and we're using that push energy to try to make it happen.
But that's not the way of the Universe. We want to sit back and let it be. We take action with the ideas we have, but not force anything to happen. Watch the video to learn more.
Raymond Holliwell says, "If a man resists a situation, he will have it always with him. If he tries to run away from it, like a shadow, it follows him. If he ignores the hardness of the condition and fearlessly works around it, he will find a time when that hard condition will have been absorbed and removed. Accept the condition as some evidence of good. Look for the good."
I recently talked about the fact that there's a good in every situation. If you feel yourself pushing back trying to make something happen and it is not working, sit back, stop being resistant, go with the flow, and listen to the ideas that are being brought to you from the Universe to make it easier.
I want to leave you with this passage from Raymond Holliwell:
"The little stream is not interested so much in the boulder or tree that's blocking its path as it is in hurrying along and reaching a larger stream, a river, the mighty ocean, which is the source of all things. It does not waste any time with the obstacle, but quietly works its way around the interference and hurries on."
What is interfering in your life? What are you resisting that you're pushing, and it isn't changing?
Today I want you to recognize that, and then realize how you can sit back and ask for answers from the Universe so life can be much easier.
After-all, we don't want a hard life...we want an easier one.
Today we are talking about the Law of Compensation.
It goes without saying that we typically want to get back whatever we put in. We desire a return on investment for the work that we do in this life. Watch the video to learn more.
Raymond Holliwell writes, “When you perform your task to the very best of your ability, or when you are thorough in your work and do it well, you infallibly bring out the best there is, and you grow more capable and efficient. You become better. And the law is that he who becomes better will attract the better and be given the greater thing to do.”Â
He also says it's useless to pray for a new home if you can't take care of your present one.Â
The point here is that if we want to manifest better things into our lives, we have to do the work.Â
So if you're wanting a better job than the one you have right now, go out and make those phone calls, show up on time, and have a positive attitude.Â
If you're wanting a new home, keep the one you have beautiful and clean.Â
Whatever it is you're wanting to bring into your life, work extra hard in that area.Â
I know you have things you want to manifest into your life because you are unhappy with them at the present moment. Â
So my question for you today is...how can you do something better to bring yourself to a higher vibration?
Today I want to talk about the Law of Increase so we can expand and grow what comes into our lives.Â
A better way to phrase this is the Law of Praise. Watch the video to learn how to bring more abundance into your life.
Raymond Holliwell states, “Praise is the shortest route to complete any demonstration (manifesting) and the quickest way to enjoy effectual prayer. Praise expands and opens the mind upward while the opposite condemnation contracts and restricts.”
What he is saying we want to praise ourselves and be proud of our accomplishments. We also want to praise and acknowledge another’s efforts.
We often do this with children, but it is important to praise adults as well.
Praise can be as simple as saying THANK YOU when someone opens the door for you.Â
When you incorporate praise into your life, not only do they feel better for the compliment, but it raises your vibration as well. You physiological composition will improve.
Holliwell also says, “When one can sing praises in the face of diversity, the adversity will soon disappear.”
This is being thankful for the toughest moments of our lives because there is a wonderful lesson to be had with every hard experience.Â
When you are upset about a failed relationship or having lost a job, take the time to praise it by saying thank you for the opportunity to take you to a better place. The ill feelings will decrease, and your mental health will improve.
Consider praising five people today to make them feel a little bit better.
And don’t forget to praise yourself for you accomplishments as well!
Today I will talk about the Law of Receiving which is also a part of the Law of Circulation. You have probably heard the phrase, “To give is to receive.”Â
Watch this video to learn how to better receive the gifts of the Universe so many more can flow to you.
In order to receive more from the Universe, we must first give. The best way to do this is through tithing. Many have a bad taste in their mouth for being required to give to their church and being forced to give their money.
Giving to a church is not what I am talking about here. I want you to consider to give to where you are Spiritually fed.Â
For some it might be to a National Park because they feel closer to God when they are out in nature. For others it is giving to a rescue shelter because they feel the most at peace and connected to the Universe when they are spending time with animals.
Giving actually activates the Law of Receiving which brings more substance into your life.Â
BUT when you give to a place that you feel Spiritually fed, it MUST to a place that increases prosperity.Â
Raymond Holliwell says, “When we give to one that doesn’t put forth the effort to help himself, we need not expect a good return.”
You are working hard to improve yourself by watching these videos, so you can grow. You want to give where organizations are encouraging others to grow and learn or improve the earth.
The saying is, “You can give a man a fish and feed him for a day. You can teach a man to fish and you will feed him for a lifetime.”
Tithe or give back to the Universe, so it can come full circle back to you.
Please consider where you can give that will benefit you Spiritually and others as well.Â
The Law of Attraction became famous with the movie The Secret produced by Rhonda Byrne. There are actually two parts to this process: desire and manifestation.
Watch the video below to learn more about the Law of Attraction principle.
Raymond Holliwell states, “Desire is when an individual earnestly desires a thing and sets up a line of force that connects him with the invisible side of the good desired.”
This means we have to WANT it. We have to FEEL it. We have to put ENERGY behind it.
After desire, we move to expectation which brings what we would love into reality.
Again, start with the desire; the wanting, feeling and yearning to have something in our life. Then, visualize yourself with it.
Next, step into your faith and EXPECT it to come.
When you see someone with a shiny new sports car you would love, don’t jump to jealousy. Instead say, “Good job! I am about to have the same car myself!”
Consider what you can say to yourself to build your faith and expect what you love will come into your life.
Â
Let’s continue our study on Working with the Law.Â
Today we're working with the Law of Thinking. Raymond Holliwell uses this quote, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so shall he be.”Â
Holliwell states “The progress of the individual is largely determined by his ruling mental state because the mind is the basic factor and governing power of the entire life of man. Attention should be given to the predominant mental state. It will regulate the action and direction of all of one's forces, which will inevitably determine many particular experiences, and the personal fate.”Â
What this basically says is that as a man thinketh, so he shall become. So what we focus on...so will we become.Â
So what is your predominant mental state? Is that worry and fear? Or is it looking through to a hopeful future and what you would love to pull into your life?Â
Now that you've decided on what you would love to create, today is your opportunity to predominantly think about that.
Think about having it in the future, seeing it in your hands, and having that experience.Â
When you hear yourself say, “There's no way this could happen, or I can’t do this”, know that it has already been created. You simply have not seen it in form.
Keep noticing what predominant mental state that you are in today, whether it's focusing on what you would love, or what you really don't want in your life.
Awareness is the greatest gift you can give yourself.
Â
Raymond Holliwell wrote a very powerful book called Working With the Law. Here is what he had to say about heaven on earth.
“Heaven is actually a condition and a state of mind that can be had NOW as well as the here-after. All failures in life are due to taking sides with the finite around us. Success in life is due to taking sides with the law within us.” By Raymond Holliwell
We create our lives. We plant seeds with our mind. Putting it out into the Universe and the “Law” is our connection to Spirit, our Higher Power, God, Universe or whatever you choose to call it.Â
We get to co-create what we would love to have in our lives.
So when I say, “Working with the law.” I mean we are working with the Universe or whatever Higher Power we have that makes us strong and powerful and manifests a life we would love to live.
What would you love to focus on to co-create with the Universe?
When I visited Scottsdale, Arizona, I was blessed to meet, Phillip Payne, an artist and owner of the Anticus gallery. Here is what he said about passion, challenges and art. Enjoy!
Phillip started sculpting when he was 14 and opened his first gallery when he was 19. He is a big believer in art because it makes us stronger and more impactful as human beings.
He says, “To create art is to bare your soul in the hopes you will find a kindred spirit in the hearts of someone else.”Â
You can create anything whether it is a business or art or a connection. We do this by being vulnerable, honest and looking for what your gifts are so you can give them to the public.Â
Use your gifts not to become rich and famous, but how it can serve a need in the community.
He has manifested many of his dreams on his bucket list because as he states, “I say it out loud, live it proud and really give it everything I have every day.”
He has experienced challenges in his live. His brother died when he was nine and his father has passed away. He has been through, “Hell and high water.” But these challenges have made him stronger.Â
He loves the quote, “We break until the light comes out.” It is important to connect with community, so when you are at your weakest, you can connect to your spirituality. When you find yourself breaking, he suggests to go into meditation and spiritual reading to build yourself back up.
We can go into unity with others and ask for help. He says, “With help, you can build anything.”
He emphasis, “If you are going through a challenge, it is there for a reason. It will make you a better person and give you a better gift to share with the public.”
Thank you Phillip for sharing your words of wisdom.
